The Newborn Experience
How exciting is it to be adding to your family! Ideally, you should contact me in your second trimester or early in your third trimester, so that I am able to block off a time frame for you and discuss a vision for your session. When your baby arrives, we can schedule an exact date.
3 types of newborn sessions are available:
Classic Newborn
The Classic Newborn includes your sleepy baby posed on a beanbag and different props. This session is done within the first few weeks of life (recommended 4-14 days old) to ensure we can get a posable, sleepy, and squishy newborn. This session is done at my in-home studio in Elkridge, MD.
What's included?
- Up to 4 hours studio time
- All props, wraps, outfits, accessories
- Beanbag & prop poses
- Parent & Sibling(s) shots
Session Fee $300
The session fee is required to book your date and time, along with a signed contract. Session fees do not go towards your collection. This covers your session and any session planning (design/style consultation),
Collections
Clients will receive a softly edited proofing gallery to make their final selections, which will be carefully and artistically edited then delivered via online gallery. Digital download offers full resolution and web sized images.
Image collections will incur 6% MD sales tax.

Simple Newborn
The Simple Newborn is a short and sweet session, done at KVP's in-home studio in Elkridge, MD.
What's included?
- Up to1 hour studio time
-2 setups
- All props, wraps, accessories
- Wrapped poses only
- Baby only
$725
8 images delivered via online gallery
$175 due at booking, along with signed contract

Lifestyle Newborn
In the comfort of your home, The Lifestyle Newborn Session is about capturing intimate and tender moments. Done up to 6 weeks old. A completely sleepy baby is not necessary either! Awake or asleep, we will go with the flow.
What's included?
- Up to 2 hours in your home
- Family/sibling(s) shots
- Solo baby shots
Travel fee applies for any location over 15 miles from Elkridge, MD (calculated at $0.52/mile roundtrip
Session Fee $300
Session fees do not go towards your image package. This covers your session, any session planning (design/style consultation), the photographer's time and talent, and creative post-processing.
